Mr. Robert Urian is the founder of NUCOM Consulting LLC, a nationally recognized Communications Consulting company. With over 35 years of experience in the field of wireless communications, Mr. Urian has extensive background in Wireless Communications System Design, Wireless Signal Enhancement System Design and Implementation, Signal Mapping & Propagation Studies, Communications System Analysis, and Federal Communications Commission Licensing and Regulatory Policy.
Prior to NUCOM Consulting LLC, Mr. Urian owned four radio communications dealerships in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Mexico and Arizona. He served as the Chairperson for Motorola's National Dealer Advisory Council, Council Member EF Johnson Dealer Advisory Council, Chairperson PA Governor's Justice Commission Communications Committee, Chairperson Lawrence County Rehabilitation Center, and Board Member Jameson Memorial Hospital. He is an active member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO)
Mr. Urian has an extensive government background, having served as a Crypto Technician and Explosive Ordinance Disposal (Bomb Disposal) Supervisor, and Nuclear Weapons Disposal Supervisor with the US Army. Special assignments included the US Secret Service Technical Security Division, Presidential Protection Detail, and five years in Europe in roles related to anti-terrorism activities. While attending college, Mr. Urian served as a Public Administrator and City Manager for a number of years before entering the private sector.
Mr. Urian currently is the Board Chairman and President of Casa Franciscana Outreach and Franciscan Charities of Arizona, both companies are non-profit 501c3 corporations supporting Franciscan charitable ministries. Both entities are corporations under the Franciscan Province of St. Barbara.
Mr. Urian attended Slippery Rock State University and Penn State University with course studies in Public Administration.
